The Caregiver’s Space
Are you in a caring profession where you are responsible for the emotional well-being of others? Are you a teacher, counselor, nurse, doctor, or other types of mental and physical healer and caregiver? If you are, WE SEE YOU! We see you out there every day meeting the needs of others and being the light for so many! When was the last time you asked yourself, or someone asked you what you need?
Compassion fatigue, often described as “negative cost of caring”, refers to the physical and mental exhaustion that can lead to a diminished ability to empathize or feel compassion for others. Individuals in caring professions may experience this for a variety of reasons.
This group will give you an open, safe space to discuss your thoughts surrounding your role as a caregiver and connect you to other individuals experiencing similar situations. It is important to remember that your experiences and perspectives are valid, and you are not alone!
